We are the only member of the NPHC which started as a professional sorority.
We are the only NPHC sorority founded at a predominately white institution.
We are the only sorority founded at Butler University.
We have over 500 chapters in the U.S., Bahamas, Bermuda, the Virgin Islands, Canada, Germany, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.

Welcome to the official website of the Kansas City, KS, Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. It is my honor to serve as president of this chapter for the 2024-2026 biennium. This chapter is comprised of dedicated and hardworking women committed to making a positive impact in Wyandotte, Johnson, and Douglas counties.
We proudly support Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority National initiatives focused on sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Our mission of greater service, greater progress inspires us to provide timely, effective, relevant services that uplift our community. Each year chapter programs are selected with the goal of addressing local needs while contributing to broader national and international issues.
